Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday ordered the officials concerned to take all steps required for smooth paddy procurement across the state.
The state government has already designated IAS officers as Special Officers for various districts to ensure effective implementation of government schemes
and developmental programmes. The Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to speed up paddy procurement and suggested that the
special officers should visit purchase centers. He asked the authorities to address farmers’ grievances, if any, on the spot, and to closely monitor paddy
procurement from time to time.
